2 arrested with cannabis in RAB operation in Sirajganj, Bangladesh . RAB-12 has arrested 02 drug dealers along with 9 (nine) kg of cannabis in a raid in Raiganj of Sirajganj district so. According to RAB, the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has been playing a leading role in bringing all kinds of criminals under the law since its inception with a view to maintaining the overall law and order situation in the country so.

The RAB has been conducting regular raids to nab militants, terrorists, organized criminals, kidnappers, gamblers, drug dealers, murderers and kidnappers in various sensational cases so.

Following this, on Friday (June 4) at 3:30 pm, the acting company commander of the special company of RAB-12, Assistant Superintendent of Police Mr. The expedition was led by John Rana so.

A vigilante expedition team of the Special Company conducted an anti-drug operation on the bank of Gadaipur-Simla-Jorpur slope under Raiganj police station in Sirajganj district so.

At that time, 2 drug dealers were arrested along with 9 (nine) kg of cannabis. 03 mobile phones were seized from them so.

The arrested accused are,

1. Md. Rafiqul Islam (38), father-Md. Khokashekh, Sang-Purba Amjan Purbpara

2. Md. Tohidul Islam (30), father-Md. Ramzan Ali, Sang-Banchowki Purbapara (25), both Thana-Hatibanda, District-Lalmonirhat so.

By evading the law enforcement agencies,

Preliminary interrogation revealed that these drug traffickers had been buying and selling illegal narcotics in different areas of Sirajganj district for a long time under the guise of law enforcement agencies so.

Handed over to Raiganj police station,

The arrested drug dealers were handed over to Raiganj police station in Sirajganj district along with the recovered evidence of filing a case under Section 19 (b) of Table 36 (1) of the Narcotics Control Act, 2016 so.
