Three drug dealers including 485 bottles of Fencidil have been arrested in a RAB operation at Salanga in Sirajganj. According to RAB,
On Sunday (January 31) at around 2.30 pm, based on a tip-off, the battalion’s Adjutant and Ops Officer Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police Pranab Kumar Sarkar and Special Company Acting Company Commander, (Media Officer) Assistant Superintendent of Police Muhammad Mohiuddin Miraj led the operation.
A temporary check post was set up on a paved road on the south side of Food Village Plus Hotel in Dhopakandi village of Salanga police station. During the search, 3 people including 485 bottles of Fencidil were arrested.
They are the son of the late Sirajul Islam of Nakhar Para village of Pirganj police station in Rangpur district. Wazed Ali (38) and Md. Dhan Shala village. Khaibar Ali’s son said. Wazed Ali (36). Gazipur district headquarters Gazipura south of the village. Akkas Ali’s son said. Afaz Uddin (36).
They were accompanied by 1 TOYOTA MICRO BUS with Reg: No. Dhaka Metro Ch-13-2617, 6 mobile phones with SIM and cash of Rs 5,300 were seized.
A case has been filed against the arrested persons at Salanga Police Station of Sirajganj District (Section 13 (c) of Table 36 (1) of the Narcotics Control Act, 2016) and they have been handed over to the police station along with the recovered evidence.
