Five people, including a child, were killed when a drunk driver drove off on a pedestrian sidewalk in the German city of Trier. Police said it was not a religious extremist or terrorist incident, it was an accident. Police have arrested the 51-year-old drunken driver. The city’s mayor described the incident as “horrific.” Continues. Police later arrested him and arrested him. Among the dead were three women aged 25, 52 and 60 and a two-and-a-half-month-old girl and her father (45). The child’s mother and one-year-old brother were rescued in critical condition and sent to hospital.
