After being identified on Facebook, RAB-12 rescued the abductee from Ghatail. Arib (25) was rescued from Ghatail in Tangail by the RAB about 18 hours after the abduction. RAB-12, CPC-3, Tangail conducted an operation and rescued 01 victim about 18 hours after the abduction. According to RAB,

On Friday (May 8) at 3 pm on the basis of secret news, RAB-12, CPC-3, Tangail’s acting
company commander Assistant Superintendent of Police. The campaign was led by
Ershadur Rahman.so
The expedition team conducted a rescue operation at Deupara Bazar in Ghatail upazila of Tangail district.so

After the RAB’s intelligence activities and technology reached out to the kidnappers, at
some point the kidnappers sensed the presence of the RAB.so
At that time, the abductors managed to escape by leaving them in a secluded place near
Deupara market. He was later rescued by RAB members.also

abductors physically tortured her and demanded a ransom of Rs. 500,000 / – (five lakh)
from her family through Bikash.so
The victim’s family complained to RAB-11, Adamjinagar, Siddhirganj, Narayanganj that the
victim had been in a clothing business with a young man named Sujan (25) for 1 (one)
year on the basis of their relationship on Facebook. Abir (25) abducted in a microbus
and brought to Ghatail.also

Later, the company commander in charge of RAB-12, CPC-3, Tangail conducted the
operation after receiving the complaint.also The rescued victim said. Abir (25) brought to the
RAB office and handed over to his family with first aid.
