Arrested along with yaba in RAB operation in Tangail. According to RAB, the operation was carried out on Monday (July 5) at around 8:30 am on the basis of secret information led by Major Mohammad Mushfiqur Rahman, Company Commander of RAB-12, CPC-3, Tangail.

The expedition team conducted the operation in front of Messrs. Siddique Store at Sathir Mor (New Bazar) village under Madhupur police station in Tangail district.

At this time, along with 120 pieces of yaba, Md. RAB arrested a man named Monir Ahmed Jewel (44).

He is the son of late Abdul Mannan of Natun Bazar area of ​​Madhupur upazila of Tangail district. 120 with him

Peace Yaba (valued at approximately Rs 36,000) was seized along with 1 motorcycle, 1 mobile phone, 1 SIM card and Tk 6,000 in cash.

When questioned in front of the witnesses, he said that for a long time now, Yaba has been illegally collecting

and supplying drugs for sale in Madhupur police station and other police stations in Tangail district.

The arrested accused supplied yaba to various drug addicts in Madhupur police station area of ​​Tangail district

and in the surrounding police station area as per their demand.

A drug case has  filed against the arrested accused under Section 10 (a) of Section 37 (1) of the Narcotics Control Act 2016 at Madhupur Police Station in Tangail District also.
