RAB has arrested a husband and wife with yaba tablets in Ullapara of Sirajganj. They were arrested in a raid at Singhagati village in the upazila around 1pm on Tuesday (February 18).
According to RAB, a team led by Assistant Superintendent of Police Muhammad Mohiuddin Miraj, the acting company commander of RAB-12’s special company, conducted a raid at Singhagati village in Ullapara upazila of Sirajganj district on the basis of secret information.
During the search, two drug dealers along with 350 Yaba tablets were arrested. About they are husband and wife. The arrested are- Md. Abu Taher Mollah’s son from Singhagati village. Masud Rana (38) and his wife Sukhi (26).
At that time, 4 mobile phones used for buying and selling drugs were seized. They have been handed over to Ullapara Police Station along with the recovered evidence after filing a case under Section 10 (a) of Section 37 (1) of the Narcotics Control Act, 2016.
