RAB-12 arrests 2 people in Tangail, Bangladesh with 2 kg and 500 grams of cannabis

In Tangail, RAB-12 arrested two people with two kilograms and five hundred grams of cannabis. According to RAB, on Monday (February 8) at 11 pm on the basis of secret news, RAB-12, CPC-3, Tangail’s company commander Assistant Superintendent of Police Md. The operation was led by Ershadur Rahman.

An expedition team raided the house of Mohammad Jamal (32) of Uttar Hogra village in Sadar upazila of Tangail district. At that time, two persons were arrested in Hatena along with two kilograms and five hundred grams of cannabis. One mobile phone and two SIM cards were seized from them.

They are Mohammad Jamal, 32, son of late Barek Mollah of Uttar Hogra village in Sadar upazila of Tangail and Harf Ali, 23, son of Mohammad Kano Mollah.

When questioned in front of the witnesses, they said that they had been illegally collecting cannabis for a long time and supplying it for sale in different areas of Tangail district’s Sadar police station through their mobile phones. The arrested accused have been supplying cannabis to various drug addicts in the Sadar police station area of ​​Tangail district and in the surrounding police station area and inciting the youth to use drugs. A case has been filed against the two accused under Section 19 (a) of Section 37 (1) of the Narcotics Control Act of 2016 at Tangail District Sadar Police Station.
