RAB has arrested drug dealers including yaba in Sirajganj. According to a press release issued by the

RAB, five top drug dealers were arrested in a special operation of the RAB in Sirajganj. Since its

inception, the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has been playing a leading role in bringing all kinds of

criminals under the purview of the law with a view to maintaining the overall law and order situation in

the country. The RAB has been conducting regular raids to nab militants, terrorists, organized criminals,

snatchers, gamblers, drug dealers, murderers and kidnappers in various sensational cases.

Following this, on Thursday (April 22) at 5 pm, the company commander in charge of the special

company of RAB-12, Assistant Superintendent of Police Muhammad Mohiuddin Miraj led the operation.

A vigilante expeditionary team of the special company under the Sadar police station in Sirajganj

district, West Gupir Para mouzastha said. An anti-drug operation was conducted on the dirt road on the

north side of Abdus Salam’s house.

At that time, 05 top drug dealers were arrested along with 191 pitch yaba tablets. 01 motorcycle, 05

mobile phones and Rs 3,650 used for buying and selling drugs were seized from them.also

also The arrested accused are, Md. Of West Gupirpara village of Sadar upazila of Sirajganj district. Kalachan

Talukdar’s son said. Nazmul Hossain (22). And Md. Khalishakura village of Sadar upazila of the district.

Abdul Jalil Sheikh’s son said. Moniruzzaman (23).and

Besides, Md. Shahangachha village of Sadar upazila of the district. Shah Ali Sheikh’s son said. Rubel

Sheikh (22). And Md. Abu Saeed Sheikh’s son. Saddam Sheikh (26).

During interrogation ,

Preliminary interrogation revealed that the gang had been buying and selling illegal drugs in different

areas of Sirajganj district for a long time under the guise of law enforcement agencies.also

Sadar Police Station ,

The arrested drug dealers were handed over to Sirajganj Sadar Police Station along with the recovered

evidence.also
